Dr.Afshin TaheriAzam is Orthopedic specialist, pelvic, hip & knee joint surgeon and assistant professor of medical university. He achieve his orthopedic board certification from Tehran University of Medical Sciences with ranked 2th in 2004 and within 2008-2016, he passed arthroplasty fellowship course (surgery with less hip invasion), hip arthroscopy and revision arthroplasty surgery of the hip and knee joint in The University of Graz, located in Graz, Austria, The Hannover Medical School (MHH) in Germany, The OCM in Munich ,Helios ENDO-Klinik Hamburg, Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia and Magdeburg University in Germany.
​​​​​​​He is an active and official member of American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS), The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), Enviromental Health and Safty society (EHS), Persian Orthopaedic Trauma Association (POTA), AO society, faculty member of Asia Pacific Arthroplasty Society (APAS), board of director of SICOT fellowship committee, board of director of SICOT subspeciality committee and Iranian Orthopedic HIP Society.

Dr. TaheriAzam has had valuable scientific activities in the field of orthopedics. The results of his research and research projects in international conferences and forums including SICOT, BHS-SIDA, EFORT, AAOS, EHS, CME Congress, TUMS Congress, POTA Congress, Iranian Association of Orthopedic Surgeons, Iranian Society of Surgeons Congress, IranArt Congress Orthoplasty has been presented as a lecture and his articles have been published in prestigious journals including Tumor Biology, Diagnostic Pathology, Cancer Cell International, Trauma Monthly, Orthopedics, Injury, Journal of Hand Surgery and Medscape General Medicine. He is also a reviewer of the prestigious scientific journals Musculoskeletal Regeneration, EC Orthopedics (ECOR) and Trauma Monthly Journal (index in PubMed).
